scriptaculous の sortable tree の方が jquery plugin の Nested Sortable より速かった
jquery の Nested Sortable jQuery Plugin と
scriptaculous の sortable tree では、scriptaculous の方が全然速かった。

上記サンプルページで処理の重さを可視化するスクリプトで何となく比較した結果。
というわけで、次回以降 scriptaculouse の sortable の高速化を試みる。
